Apr 02, 2007 · Basicly, you just give DMA the buffer address, the number of bytes to transfer, and whether we're transferring to or from memory. The devil is in the details. You need to give 16-bit addresses to a 8-bit device, which has to be told "I'm going to write another low-byte" every time you want to write a low-byte.
