Reinstall touchpad drivers Open Device Manager. Right-click the name of the device, then select Uninstall device. Select Uninstall and then restart your PC. Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver. If the touchpad not working on Acer laptop persists, you can right-click the touchpad driver again, select Uninstall device, follow the on-screen prompts to reinstall the driver, and re-enable the touchpad.
