Follow the step-by-step instructions below: Open the Settings app by hitting Windows+I. Click the "System" category. Click the "Power & Sleep" tab on the left. Click the "Additional Power Settings" link under the "Related Settings" section. In the window that pops up, click "Show Additional Plans" and then click the "Ultimate Performance" option. Alternatively, you can right-click on the battery icon in the taskbar and select Power Options. In the panel on the left-hand side of the window, click on Create a power plan. At the bottom of the window, give your new plan a name. The plan will now be reactivated. Right-click on the battery icon in the taskbar and select Power Options. In the panel on the left-hand side of the window, click on Create a power plan.
