WEBThe table below provides some common North American Lumber nominal sizes and their equivalent actual size. For example, 1x8 actual size is 3/4" x 7-1/4", and 2 x 12 actual size is 1-1/2" x 11-1/4", and 2x 10 actual size is 1-1/2" x 9-1/4".
